Billing and Payment
We are a Medicare Bulk Billing Practice
Our practice has signed up to be a Medicare Bulk Billing Practice. This means we will bulk bill all Medicare eligible patients for all eligible services under the program.
We bulk bills eligible GP services, including:
- GP consultations
- Chronic condition management plans and reviews
- Mental health treatment plans
- Health assessments.
Fees may apply for non-eligible services, including:
- Procedures, such as
- Mirena insertions (Fee $300, Medicare rebate $183.60, out-of-pocket $116.40)
- iron infusions ($200, no Medicare rebate)
- Commercial Driver License medical assessments (Fee $165)

Patients without a valid Medicare card (Standard GP consultation $65.75)
(Note: newborns eligible for Medicare will be placed on hold for one month) - Non-MBS services, including insurance, employment or legal paperwork and reports (Fees vary depending on complexity)
- Allied health and other non-GP services
You may have some out-of-pocket costs associated with your GP attendances/services. The fee is based on the time and complexity of the consult.
Worker’s Compensation Consultations
QLD Work Cover – All new Workers’ Compensation consultations will be privately billed until the claim is approved by QLD Work Cover. These invoices can be forwarded to Work Cover at your request; however, you will remain responsible for any outstanding fees if the claim is not approved.
Cancellation/No show Fee
$65.75 non-attendance fee applies for all GP appointments not cancelled within 2 hours of the appointment time and will need to be paid prior to any future appointments.
